To reinstate traditional Chinese cultural heritage after 60 years of Communist rule, a group of international Chinese artists launched Shen Yun in New York in 2006. In no time, the dance and music company became world-renowned for its sparkling, colourful shows that blend tradition and high tech. In their latest production, the audience travels from the Himalayas to the tropical lakes, from legends more than 5,000 years old to the story of Falun Dafa in contemporary China.
