“Because I was constantly looking through national and international image databases for my work as a photo editor, I pushed my own ambitions aside for a while. This photographic foray has reconnected me with images and given me renewed drive to pursue personal projects. Glorious winter sunshine, unusual streets being laid out in the pedestrian zone around the Beurs/Bourse… Everything seemed to catch my eye. It is often said that Brussels is a difficult city to photograph. So this is the perfect place for me to reconcile with my goals.”
