Architect Thana has had enough of Bangkok and his hectic life. The new generation has overtaken him and his wife uses a vibrator and only thinks about shopping.

He tries to get out of the impasse by returning the elephant Pop Aye to the village from which they both originally came. Like in all road movies, it is not the destination but the journey that is cathartic. The cinematography is beautiful, the humour is mild, and the sentimentality is just the right side of cheesy, but this coquettish world film is never compelling.
