After a traffic accident, a shabby singer-songwriter from Suffolk is the only person in the world who remembers The Beatles’ songs.
With the help of a desperately jealous Ed Sheeran, Jack becomes a music sensation, but all his success estranges him from his ex-manager/roadie/teacher. Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis don’t do very much with the insane premise of this film and yes, Yesterday is yet another saccharine love story, but The Beatles are still brilliant and Ed Sheeran (“Hey Dude”) is really quite funny.
