What started in the Lower East Side in New York in 2000 has now grown into a yearly global competition in which MCs battle it out to see who is really the very best. Announced as the biggest rap challenge in the world, eight countries are competing for the title in the End of the Weak final. The best word-spitter will be selected by a professional jury who will judge all the contestants based on five specific tests that meticulously measure the MCs’ technical skills. Belgium has been in the flow since 2014, is organizing the final this year, and is sending the Brussels-based rapper Crapulax to compete on its behalf.
