Brussels politicians are angry about the behaviour of mayor Yvan Mayeur and CPAS president Pascale Peraïta during the communal council on Tuesday evening. On this council, Mayeur and Peraïta had to explain the thousands of euros of directors' fees they received as administrators of Samusocial. Mayeur did not say anything and Peraïta read a statement. This morning, at the Committee on Social Affairs of the Brussels parliament, the majority and the opposition called for more transparency. Groen and Ecolo proposed a parliamentary commission of inquiry, which was approved today.
