Deposed Catalan minister-president Carles Puigdemont won't seek political asylum in Belgium. He said so this afternoon at a press conference in Brussels. After yesterday's uncertainty about his arrival in Belgium, Puigdemont made a statement at the Press Club, a press center for international journalists. Puigdemont says he came to Brussels because it's the capital of Europe. He wants to put the Catalan cause on the European agenda.
