Activist Pegha Sadri: 'We want to show the real Iranian woman, intellectual and educated'

Pegha Sadri moved from Iran to Belgium as a child. She has become the face of the local 'Women, Life, Freedom' protests, following Mahsa Amini's death in an Iranian police cell in 2022. "Since her death, a certain solidarity has emerged within the Iranian diaspora in Belgium, as everywhere else in the world. We want to inform people about the inequalities, the injustices, the daily torture in Iran."
