AEPO-ARTIS: 'Building a sustainable career as an artist is becoming more difficult'

At the European umbrella organisation AEPO-ARTIS (Association of European Performers' Organisations) they are concerned about the impact of technology and the internet on actors and musicians. Artists are now increasingly dealing with platforms such as Netflix and Spotify. "The biggest mistake is to join a collective rights management organisation too late and give away your rights too easily. Because what you do at a young age is often impossible to correct."
