Desi came to Brussels with her family 16 years ago. As an actress, it was difficult to find projects. But over time, and after learning French and Dutch, she began teaching acting and improv classes. Recently, she also started directing. "Now I'm trying to adapt a book by a Bulgarian writer into a screenplay. It's called Brussels Naked and it's about living in Brussels, about its various neighbourhoods and communities."
