Sri Lanka is known for its wide variety of tea, with different regions, varieties and flavours. And it is also a very important agricultural product. "Economically, I would say tea contributes about 2 per cent to our GDP and gives us about 1.5 billion in foreign exchange, which is very important for a small economy like Sri Lanka. We focus more on quality than quantity."
