Yorgos Altintzís: 'I opened a Greek restaurant, because I'm Greek, in Lombok'

Originally from Thessaloniki, Yorgos started working in Brussels after completing his studies. But after fifteen years, he traded his career at the International Trade Union Confederation for his own restaurant on the Indonesian island of Lombok, near Bali. "I mainly make my mother’s recipes. She was a huge help in putting together the menu and gave me new ideas when certain ingredients didn’t work out."
