In this report, we head to Anderlecht to visit the house where the Dutch scholar Desiderius Erasmus stayed in 1521. His name is known today especially among young people as the EU student mobility programme was named after him. In spring, the gardens of the Erasmus House are open to the public for anyone who fancies a secluded spot for a picnic.
