Books are everywhere at Ruth's place. She's editor for Belgian publisher of art books Ludion. The company issues books about Belgian artists such as Luc Tuymans or David Claerbout, but also about old masters like Vermeer, Bruegel, Bosch, Raphäel, Leonardo and Van Eyck. "Art books are much more than a source of information. They are an object that people cherish," says Ruth.

Besides art books, the company also publishes graphics and organizes exhibitions. Their exhibition "The Revealing Image", about the little known photography work of René Magritte, currently travels all over the world. After Taiwan, Hong-Kong, Australia, Japan the exhibition can now be visited in Charleroi, before it moves to Spain and Italy after summer.
