EVPA: 'Money should work for society and not just make investors richer'

The European Venture Philanthropy Association is headquartered in Brussels and combines philanthropy with investing practices. With impact funds, for example, it supports the company Azerbaijani Socks, which employs rural women. "We are trying to break the belief that money should be invested just for the sake of money. And that philanthropic organisations or philanthropists can only work voluntarily. And that donors must be selfless, like a missionary."
