His love of music has taken Barcelona-born Albert Vila to Amsterdam and New York, among other places. To record his latest album, he invited Rudy Royston and Doug Weiss, musicians he met in New York, to Brussels. "I use different elements from world music and classical music, from the blues. I try not to think in terms of genres."
