Artist duo Eric Bassleer, aka Mon Colonel, and Thomas Stiernon, aka Spit, who are being showcased at ALICE Gallery, keep careful inventories of their memories and influences. The names of artists, musicians, or song titles are all blended into the colourful pop universe.

The guys from Liège, whose work consists of drawings, sculptures, and ceramics, offer humoristic insight into their life. Their almost childlike visual language reveals a broader perspective on society. Our collective thinking is rooted in a superficial, unnuanced, and barely underpinned Facebook feed.
