More than one hundred thousand Greeks went to see this play, so perhaps you will enjoy it too.

The Great Chimera is a classic novel by the prematurely deceased twentieth-century Greek author M. Karagatsis, about a Frenchwoman who is in love both with classical Greek culture and a Greek shipowner, but while in Greece, she gets into a muddle with herself, her relationship, and complex Greek identity. The author’s grandson, Dimitri Tarlow, staged the bourgeois drama, a co-production of the Poreia Theatre and the Athens & Epidaurus Festival 2014, in a classical, cinematographic way.
