The Sea Within presents a new evolution in the oeuvre of choreographer Lisbeth Gruwez.

The Sea Within is changing
For the first time, she will not perform onstage herself, but instead presents a completely female cast of ten dancers, and uses a more organic, spiritual, meditative dance language. Like a pearl diver, Gruwez brings images, atmospheres, and associations to the surface, merging the individual in a whirling mass.
The music is by Gruwez’s regular collaborator Maarten Van Cauwenberghe, assisted by Elko Blijweert and Bjorn Eriksson.
