The Art of Difference: Cyborgs take over Bozar

Bozar’s The Art of Difference feels a lot like a Philip K. Dick novel. In a series of talks and an exhibition, they’re questioning how advancements in technology have improved the standard of living for people with a handicap.

Bionic prostheses and exoskeletons are on display next to computerised smart glasses that help blind people see. Of course there’s room for the ethical questions that arise from these cyborg-like improvements. Bozar presents both sides of the spectrum though. Showing not only the technological, but also the artistic advancements that biotech went through. Only one question remains unanswered: do androids dream of electric sheep?
