Orchestras unite for Beethoven's Ninth

Regarded by many as the pinnacle of classical music, Alain Altinoglu is bringing the inspiration for the Anthem of Europe to the capital of the EU. And for a composition of this grandeur you need performers to match. So, the orchestra and choir of De Munt/La Monnaie are joining forces with the Belgian National Orchestra and the Octopus Choir for a massive concert in Bozar – all three Belgian federal cultural institutions united for the sake of music. Schiller’s lyric “Deine Zauber binden wieder, was die Mode streng geteilt” will have never sounded more appropriate.
