Russia is preparing for presidential elections, and it looks as though Putin is going to win. He will thus probably be starting his fourth term as the head of state. Predictable? We think so too. We prefer the Russian underground: that’s where the really exciting stuff is happening.
Bozar is devoting an evening to controversial music, poetry, and activism from the former Soviet Union. Poet Kirill Medvedev and artist Nikolay Oleynikov – both members of the Chto Delat collective – have critical perspectives on their country, are coming to play music and read texts, and they will also sit down for a conversation with Russia expert Johan De Boose.
