Chef Alberto Bali: 'The Chez Malou restaurants are African heritage'


Chez Malou is a Congolese restaurant that opened its doors nine years ago in Matonge, Ixelles. We speak to chef Alberto, who, like owner Malou Bomboka, is from Congo. "Many Belgians used to live in Congo. This place feels like coming home because they eat the same food here. A lot of people ask for pondu with goat meat."
