Former NATO principal spokesperson Oana Lungescu, the longest-serving and first woman and journalist to hold the post, will continue to live in Brussels after her retirement. She has also been named a Distinguished Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute. "I will continue to be involved in the debate on international relations, security and defence. Because I think it is important for women to be even more involved in these areas."
