Mehdi grew up in Brussels, but his parents are originally from Turkey and Algeria. He wanted to become a professional basketball player, but decided to study management instead. A few years later he founded the project 'Bball in the Sky'. The goal: to make outdoor basketball courts playable again, upgrade them with artistic paintings and thus create a meeting place for basketball lovers.
