Tom McDonald is an Irish trainee who arrived in Brussels a year ago. He is an intern at the Wilfried Martens Centre, the official think-tank of the European People's Party. "I've been interested in politics since I was 13 or 14 and have been asking myself if I want to be a politician. I'm torn."
