Brusseleir Mathieu Minne moved to Japan for work in 2004. It was there that he learnt Japanese and married his wife, Yuko Matsumoto. They moved back to Brussels in 2011 to give their young children a more international upbringing. "In Japan, you have to spend a lot more time in the office. You must show that you are dedicated to your work. And there is much more respect for hierarchy."
