When she was 14 years old, the Philadelphian girl Chynna Rogers was spotted by a scout for Ford Models at a Six Flags theme park. Her career did not end with fashion magazines and the catwalk.
More than physical challenges, she needed mental release. She found it with the A$AP Mob collective, which works in both the hip-hop and fashion world from its base in Harlem, New York, and which launched her as a rapper.
Since then, she has gone by her first name and is particularly celebrated for her natural flow, bold rhymes, and moody delivery drenched in sultry beats and threatening basses.
