Vidéo Express is moving: 'Thanks to my wife and children, this video shop still exists'

Vidéo Express is not only the last video shop in Brussels, it's also a cultural institution in Saint-Gilles. It opened its doors in 1999 and, after 25 years, has to move to rue Théodore Verhaegen 55, on the other side of Bareel. "The price per film was 100 francs. And when we switched to the euro, 100 francs was 2.48 euros. I liked that price - 2.48 sounds good - and I always kept it."
