A new establishment opened its doors on Mont des Arts this year. With Château Moderne, founder Frédéric Nicolay wants to breathe new life into this 'dead' neighbourhood, partly by attracting more people from Brussels. The interior is beautiful, as is the view, and they want to keep prices low. "You can eat smash burgers here, home-made fries, avocado toasts, toasts with labneh and smoked salmon. In time, we want to offer brunches on weekends."
