The artwork in Maalbeek metro station have become a symbol on social media. They're 8 faces, drawn by Brussels artist Benoît van Innis. he doesn't know what state they're in now but he's kept the originals in his workshop in Kuregem. One things is sure, if he has to redo them, he'll do so with the help of several other artists.

Op de luchthaven van Zaventem ontploften op 22 maart 2016 twee bommen. Ook in metrostation Maalbeek was er een explosie. Op 12 september ging het proces, dat 9 maanden zal duren, van start in Brussel.
